Meet artist and educator extraordinaire, Rosalind Santavicca. She will take you on a journey through the Mattress Factory gardens where participants will find natural inspiration to create watercolor creations. Learn Rosalind’s methods and how to transfer the beautiful patterns found in leaves and herbs to unique cards and prints.

Twice a month, on the first and third Saturdays, visitors are invited to participate in a range of art-making activities that illuminate the creative process of in-residence artists. Projects and materials are developed to complement current and ongoing exhibitions. This program is free with museum admission and highly recommended for individuals or families with children of all ages.

Mattress Factory Education and Community progams are made possible by the generous support from the Allegheny Regional Assets District, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Jack Buncher Foundation, Sheila Fortune Foundation, Grable Foundation, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Surdna Foundation.
