Opening Reception of student work on August 5, 6-8pm
Who are you? Participants in this intensive four-week installation art program will explore personal identity through the visual arts. The installation It's all about ME, Not You created by Greer Lankton as well as the rest of the museum's installations will provide inspiration for our work. Young artists will use figurative sculpture, pop-culture collage, found-object art and dialog about personal identity to inform the installations they create. The program will culminate with an art event showcasing the work of participatin artists in a Mattress Factory gallery space.
Cheryl Capezzuti is a visual artist best known for figurative work and giant puppets made out of remnants of everyday life.
