ARTLab: Patterned Viewfinders

ARTLab: Patterned Viewfinders
Saturday, March 5, 2016
FREE with Museum Admission
Museum Lobby @ 500 Sampsonia Way

Inspired by Yayoi Kussama’s Repetitive Vision and Infinity Dots Mirrored Room learn to start seeing patterns everywhere! We’ll make a small viewfinder to get an idea of what it might feel like to see your world covered in patterns. Hands-on, drop in, for all ages!

Twice a month, on the first and third Saturdays, visitors are invited to participate in a range of art-making activities that illuminate the creative process of in-residence artists. Projects and materials are developed to complement current and ongoing exhibitions. This program is free with museum admission and highly recommended for individuals or families with children of all ages.

Mattress Factory Education and Community progams are made possible by the generous support from the Allegheny Regional Assets District, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Jack Buncher Foundation, Sheila Fortune Foundation, Grable Foundation, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Surdna Foundation.
