Tessa Windt

Canadian, b. 1973
Reaching back to the endeavours of Modernism, Tessa Windt employs the strategies of formal abstraction to propose intersections between decoration and Modernism, and make palpable the tension between the body and abstraction. Windt obtained her BFA from Concordia University and attended the Emily Carr Insitute of Art and Design. She received her MFA from The Ohio State University.
