Our first stop is Brew House Arts, where we’ll meet with artists-in-residence in their exhibition space to hear about their work and creative process. Then, we’ll head to Fred Rogers Productions for a behind-the-scenes tour, exploring the legacy of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and its lasting impact on educational programming today.
About Brew House Arts + the Distillery Residency:
Brew House Arts (BHA) is a nonprofit art center located in Pittsburgh’s South Side. We produce and present fine art exhibitions in a contemporary gallery and provide studio spaces for professional artists. Emerging artists and curators work with us through our residency programs to develop their skills and hone their artistic voices.
Distillery is a year-long studio residency designed to help seven Pittsburgh-based emerging artists transition into a professional artistic career by supporting a rigorous studio practice and providing professional development opportunities in a creative and affordable environment. This program focuses on inspiring participants to embrace new challenges in their work and connect to a supportive community. Artists work throughout the year towards a group exhibition at the Brew House Gallery.
About Fred Rogers Productions:
Fred Rogers Productions builds on the legacy of Fred Rogers by creating quality children’s media that models an enthusiasm for learning and earns the trust of parents and caregivers. The company has produced hit children's programs including Daniel Tiger, Donkey Hode, and Alma's Way.

Brew House Arts is located at 711 South 21st Street, Pittsburgh PA. Bike racks as well as both paid and free street parking is available near the Brew House.

Fred Rogers Productions is located at 424 S 27th St Suite 301, Pittsburgh, PA in Southside Works. The entrance is halfway down the breezeway between 412 and Commonplace Coffee, across from the Cheesecake Factory. Metered parking is available throughout Southside Works, and more parking is available at the Ladle Parking Garage across the street from the office.
