About the Exhibition

REIGNITE is an art exhibition on Saturday, May 25, 2024 that will feature works by local teen artists. The artwork is selected by a jury of teens in Mattress Factory's Teen Art Cooperative.

READY TO RE-IGNITE is inspired by the Phoenix: a mythological bird reborn of its ashes, symbolizing renewal and immortality. The exhibition is driven by the many ways humans rise from darkness, shed past selves, reinvent and rediscover themselves, heal and evolve.

About the Open Call

REIGNITE was an open call for art MADE BY TEENS in high school grades 9-12. Art submissions were juried by the teens in Mattress Factory's Teen Art Cooperative. Selected art will be exhibited in the Mattress Factory's lobby from May 25-26, 2024.
