Description

Social Sublime Action Art Chill with us, against us and next to us. Deconstruction: a systematic way of disassembling a building that favors labor over machine, reuse over waste, and the embodied energy, accounting for the sun, the soil and what it takes to create the resources that it takes to build a building. Deconstruction: a possibility for reconsidering, a choice in activating our relationship with buildings that often mirror our histories. Join us in this fold, from our neighborhood, where we know it will need to happen slow. Where imagining it is the the architecture of the relationships we build. Transformazium works to combine the human and material resources available in our neighborhood with creative action and active communication in order to transform ideas into tangible social and economic benefit, while developing models that can be used by other neighborhoods facing similar challenges.
