TANGIBLE FEELINGS

2011

This play is a reflection on the (im)possibility of accepting diversity and the other. The fragmented body of the neoplasm—the fruit of unstable conditions—overcomes barriers, loves and denies itself and others, wanders around, forgetting its profession. It frequently and with pleasure divides, goes through dangerous palpation, questions the possibility of contact with the experience of the other. Poorly brought up but very successful, it invites us to a trans-species transition.

Artist Statement

I’m thinking here about touching your feeling. Like we touch each other or our skin, to feel the reality of existence. How we care about what we can’t see or how we feel it with our senses: to touch our souls, to understand our self-language, to have the ability to treat our self. It’s the first step in our relationship with others.
