Inspired by exhibiting artist Luke Stettner and collaborators — for two nights only this summer — Mattress Factory will host special art film screenings. These rare screenings offer a unique opportunity to experience film as a medium for experimentation and artistic expression.

Luke Stettner’s collaborative exhibition, State of the Sky, explores image-making processes, time, and their connection to Western Pennsylvania’s legacy of environmental activism.

These film screenings are part of a summer-long professional education program at the museum, Summer School: State of the Sky, led by Stettner and his collaborators. Participants engage with a range of creative professionals to explore image-making techniques while honing their own craft.
